My first experience with stride tool

I have a bunch of burnishing tools out there with techs. One of my techs called me and had an issue with his. The pin that hold the handle broke and the threads were stripped out. This was hardly used. I feel the thread got messed up somehow? I really don't think it was misuse but...Anyways I sent it in for warranty and I receive an email that says "upon inspection of this tool 525-f my conclusion that this tool was miss used. It cannot be repair and we will not replace it. We will hold it for 10 days after that we will dispose of it."

I guess I had to vent and I feel better now.
